The Anesthesia Assistant supports the anesthesiologist in patient assessment, treatment, and education, helping with ventilation management, vital function maintenance, and monitoring in the operating room or other hospital areas. This role is crucial for assisting with anesthesia services across the facility.
What you need
6 must-haves- Education Diploma from a recognized anesthesia assistant program
- Certification Active membership with the New Brunswick Association of Respiratory Therapists (NBART)
- Certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Language Fluent French and spoken English
- Other Ability to report to work within 20 minutes during on-call and recall service
- Certification ACLS certification (or commitment to obtain within set deadlines)
Nice to have
